The Moog DFAM needs little introduction - an experimental fusion of the classic Moog circuitry with modular design, it is a powerhouse desktop machine capable of massive kicks, sizzling bass, bowel-loosening subs and all manner of percussive sounds.

This pack features 128 sounds from the Drummer From Another Mother - 32 kicks, 32 percs, 32 noise-based sounds and 32 tones. I have attempted to capture the full spectrum of kicks from the DFAM, from restrained and softer bass drums to gabber monstrosities. The percs cover everything from snares, lasers, zaps, bloops and otherworldly timbres. The noise-based sounds are perfect for hats, claps, and shakers, while the tones are great for bass, melodies and even chords. All individual samples are provided in 24-bit/48khz sample rate. All samples are royalty-free. There are also 16 Oscillators which can be looped endlessly without any popping or clicking, no matter how high or low you play them. All samples have been captured in a way which brings out the weight and power of each sound, while still allowing headroom for further manipulation down the line.

There are also four sample chains provided with the download, including .ot files designed for use with the Elektron Octatrack (pre-sliced sample chains), which allow for the sounds to be used from several big samples rather than 88 individual ones. These sample chains are presented in 24-bit and 44.1khz sample rate so they work better with the Octatrack, though the samples will work nicely in any sampler such as those from Native Instruments, Akai, Roland, Elektron, Korg, Pioneer, Synthstrom and 1010 Music, as well as all DAWs.

Finally, there is an Ableton Live Drum Selector rack (will work in Live Suite 11.2 and above) which allows you to program a pattern and change the sample with the turn of an encoder, as well as alter decay, pitch, distortion, compression and more with ease.

Each individual sound has been uniquely tweaked with dynamic EQ'ing and careful limiting they sound really full and alive right out of the box, but allowing enough headroom for further processing down the line.
