This pack contains over 256 One-Shots, with the drum voices organised into their respective folders - Bass Drums (BD), Snare Drums (SD), Hi-Hats (HH) and Tones (TN). the latter being a collection of synth sounds such as basses and leads. These sounds have all been captured in a way which brings out the weight and power of each sound, while still allowing headroom for further manipulation down the line.

There are also four sample chains provided with the download, including .ot files designed for use with the Elektron Octatrack (pre-sliced sample chains), which allow for the sounds to be used from several big samples rather than 256 individual ones. These sample chains are presented in 16-bit and 44.1khz sample rate so they work better with the Octatrack, though the samples will work nicely in any sampler such as those from Native Instruments, Akai, Roland, Elektron, Korg, Pioneer, Synthstrom and 1010 Music, as well as all DAWs.

There is an Ableton Live Selector Rack (will work in Live Suite 11.2 and above) which allows you to program a pattern and change the sample with the turn of an encoder, as well as alter decay, pitch, distortion, compression and more with ease. This Selector Pack comes with two tracks – one containing a Drum Selector Rack featuring every one-shot neatly organised into their various cells (BD, SD etc) and another featuring a Tone Selector Rack, which is an instance of Simpler hosting all 64 Tone samples. The latter can be played like a synth, up and down the keyboard melodically, either monophonically or polyphonically.

Each individual sound has been uniquely tweaked with dynamic EQ, saturation, compression and careful limiting they sound really full and alive right out of the box, but allowing enough headroom for further processing down the line.
