The Elektron Analog Rytm is an all-in-one sound design and performance groovebox with limitless creative possibilities. This pack aims to capture that excitement, and covers the full breadth of sounds available within this incredible device.
This sample pack contains over 1300 (!) One-Shots, with the drum voices organised into their respective folders - Bass Drums (BD), Snare Drums (SD), Rimshots (RS), Claps (CP), Toms (TT), Hi-Hats (HH), Cymbals (CY), Cowbells (CB), Noise (NZ), Synths (SY) and Effects (FX), the latter being a huge collection of weird sounds from across the range of machines on offer. There are also 16 Oscillators - taken from the Dual VCO and SY Raw machines - which can be looped endlessly without any popping or clicking, no matter how high or low you play them. These samples have been captured in a way which brings out the weight and power of each sound, while still allowing headroom for further manipulation down the line.
The pack also contains 35 sample chains, which are files containing anywhere between 32 and 128 samples, in order to provide a huge variety of sounds from a single ‘track’ of a sampler. These sample chains are accompanied by .ot files, which are essentially tiny data files which the Elektron Octatrack uses to apply slice points to each chain, allowing Octatrack users to get stuck in with a minimum of fuss.
Finally, there is an Ableton Live Selector Rack (will work in Live Suite 11.2 and above) which contains two channels - a Drum Rack that allows you to program a pattern and change the sample with the turn of an encoder, as well as alter decay, pitch, distortion, compression and more with ease, and a Synth Rack which contains 32 'endless' oscillators which seamlessly loop, so they sound and feel like a real synth.
These samples are presented royalty-free, meaning you can make any music you want with them without having to cut me in on any of the profits.
